AfroSync may reject submissions that appear incomplete, misleading, unlawful, or unsuitable for the platform.

Music Rights and Ownership

Using the AfroSync website or submitting an application does not transfer ownership of your music to AfroSync.

Any distribution rights, sync licensing permissions, YouTube CMS permissions, revenue shares, royalty terms, takedown rules, or campaign terms must be agreed separately in writing before services begin.

Accepted artists and labels may be required to sign a separate Artist Agreement, Distribution Agreement, Label Agreement, Sync Licensing Agreement, YouTube CMS Agreement, or related service agreement.

Distribution and Third-Party Platforms

AfroSync may work with third-party platforms, white-label providers, distribution partners, streaming services, video platforms, YouTube systems, rights management partners, and other music industry service providers.

AfroSync is not responsible for delays, errors, decisions, removals, rejections, payment timelines, policy changes, or platform actions caused by third-party services.

Playlist Pitching

AfroSync may pitch selected releases to independent playlist editors and editorial playlist teams where applicable.

Playlist pitching does not guarantee placement.

Final playlist decisions are made by playlist editors, curators, platforms, and third parties.

Sync Licensing

AfroSync may consider selected music for sync licensing opportunities in film, television, advertising, gaming, digital content, brand campaigns, and other media.

Sync licensing opportunities are not guaranteed.

Any confirmed sync opportunity may require a separate agreement covering rights, fees, usage, territory, duration, ownership, and payment terms.

YouTube CMS and Rights Management

YouTube CMS or rights management support may only be available to eligible artists, labels, or rights holders.

AfroSync may request proof of ownership, catalog details, channel information, agreements, or additional documents before providing YouTube CMS support.

YouTube claims, monetization, removals, disputes, and revenue outcomes may depend on YouTube policies, third-party rights, and platform decisions.

Funding

AfroSync may consider funding selected high-potential projects.

Funding is not guaranteed and is not available to every artist or label.

Funding decisions are based on factors such as the artist, song, campaign plan, audience, numbers, project potential, budget, and AfroSync’s internal review.

Any approved funding will require a separate written agreement.
